Product Description
The globally influential animated film AKIRA, created by Katsuhiro Otomo, now has its soundtrack remixed and fully produced by Otomo himself in the vinyl release of AKIRA REMIX! Featuring remixes by Makoto Kubota (Les Rallizes Dénudés, Makoto Kubota & Sunset Gang), Yasuharu Konishi (Pizzicato Five), and Kuniaki Haishima (“KOWLOON'S GATE”)!
This vinyl release of "AKIRA REMIX" uses the ultra-deep processed Hypersonic High-Resolution audio (192khz/24bit) mastered by Shoji Yamashiro of Geinoh Yamashirogumi, with cutting by Japan’s top cutting engineer, Tohru Kotetsu. It features the Hypersonic Sound, which activates the core human brain, a feature that could not be reproduced on conventional CDs. As with the CD release, Otomo himself supervised the artwork for this project. Enjoy a new auditory experience with this analog vinyl "AKIRA REMIX" mastered from ultra-deep Hypersonic High-Resolution audio, distinct from the CD version.
